Ixom has successfully finalised the acquisition of Australian Botanical Products (ABP), market leader in essential oils manufacturing and distribution.
ABP is a well established, highly regarded supplier [and manufacturer] of essential oils and blended ingredients that underpin a large number of health, wellness and personal care brands in Australia and across the globe.
Expanding on Ixom’s established Keith Harris fragrance & flavours and Bronson & Jacobs businesses, this acquisition will strengthen and grow Ixom’s local manufacturing capabilities and open expanded customer markets through ABP’s extensive portfolio of products and customers.
Ixom Executive Vice President Life Sciences, Mark Bisset stated of the acquisition “This significant acquisition by Ixom demonstrates our clear growth strategy by expanding the Life Sciences portfolio to include the high quality and calibre products of ABP.”
“The combination of ABP’s high quality essential oils combined with Ixom’s Keith Harris flavours and fragrance business and well-established Bronson and Jacobs distribution business enables Ixom to deliver a unique and differentiated market offering that focuses on providing customer solutions,” said Mr Bisset.
ABP products wholesale and retail under a range of brands including Auroma, Essential Therapeutics, Parfumis, Roonka and Sydney Essential Oil Co.
