D.NitroT is a non-toxic and non-hazardous nutritive carbohydrate which assists in the denitrification process in waste water treatment plants. For this process to occur, the facultative heterotrophic bacteria that biologically reduce nitrate (NO3) to nitrogen gas (N2) require a carbon source to live. This carbon source is readily available in D.NitroT solutions. Appearance: Clear liquid, virtually colourless to pale yellow (D.NitroT). Characteristic: Free flowing at room temperature .
