For removal of algal pollutants in drinking water, intended to be applied at ambient water temperature, the dosage may range from 1 to 20 mg/L, depending on the water quality. The actual dosage should be established by jar tests. 

The product is intended to be dosed prior to filtration. Care should be taken to maximise contact time and avoid carry-over of product in finished water. Treated water should be disinfected to remove microbiological contaminations.
