It is widely used as a solvent in coating formulations, a chemical intermediate in the manufacture of esters, and a coupling agent to stabilize immiscible ingredients in mental cleaners, textile lubricants, cutting oils and liquid household products. Recommended Use: Solvent; chemical intermediate.
