Water treatment:
The dosage rate may range from 10 mg/L to 100 mg/L, depending on water quality.
Actual dosage should be determined by jar-tests.
Maximum dose rate (with a safety factor of 10) based on the revised Drinking-water Standard for NZ (2008) is 100 mg/L of aluminium sulfate or 220mg/L of aluminium sulfate solution as supplied.
