Water NZ visit to Morrinsville

IXOM New Zealand recently had the privilege of hosting Gillian Blythe, the CEO of Water New Zealand, at our Morrinsville facility, marking a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with one of the country’s key water industry bodies.

As the organisation that guides best practice and fosters collaboration throughout the industry, Water New Zealand plays a central role in shaping the sector’s future. Gillian’s visit gave us the opportunity to showcase IXOM’s capabilities and demonstrate our contribution to water quality and supply.

From the outset, the day focused on IXOM’s strengths. Our team delivered a presentation on IXOM’s proud history, extensive manufacturing footprint, and ongoing investment in infrastructure designed to ensure long-term supply resilience. Led by Commercial Manager Claire Deutsch, alongside Business Manager Graeme Colquhoun and Morrinsville Site Manager Paul Griffin, the Water team highlighted our technical expertise and the critical role our specialists play in helping customers apply products safely and efficiently.

Another key message was IXOM’s commitment to producing New Zealand-made solutions, particularly at a time when many others are scaling back local investment. This approach reflects our dedication to quality, reliability, and supporting the communities we serve.

Gillian engaged deeply with our team, asking insightful questions about supply security and continuity planning.
